Aesthetic of Art and Crafts

ATTA Gallery

ATTA Gallery is pleased to announce about the opening of “Aesthetic of Art and Crafts”, the eighth exhibition in Self Enquiry project by Kamin Lertchaiprasert. The exhibition is held at 31st Century Museum of Contemporary Spirit (office) in Chiangmai.

ATTA Gallery

Exhibition period is September 14 – December 17, 2024.

This exhibition showcases Kamin’s latest ceramic sculpture, “Happiness is Precious When Shared,” created in 2024 in collaboration with Tao Hong Tai, along with two artworks from the “Pure Perception?” series (2019-2020).

Kamin’s pieces are exhibited alongside works by Mr. Saksaran Duang-in (Bank), founder of Satu, a clothing company that goes beyond physical beauty to embody ethnic lifestyles and production practices; Mr. Montree Yuansat, whose meticulous craftsmanship transforms homes into sculptural works that transcend time; and Suan Chujai’s roasted coffee, offered at Jingjai Market, where customers are invited to pay as they wish, creating a space for meaningful connections that challenge conventional business models. These diverse works prompt viewers to reflect on the distinctions between Craft and Art, and to question: When the value of contemporary art is not just skills and craftsmanship, then what is beauty, if not attention?

Le Souverain Bien De Paris

The sovereign good in philosophical concept of ultimate good of Paris, nom de plume. At intervals of Gare du Nord, Russel Square, Pipat and Bellapais, I learned that happiness has mechanics linked to curiosity. Actually my brother taught me. Intelligence wherever it appears, in philosophy, beauty, or the unexpected, elevate me.
