Novello Italian culinary story, this time in their own home: “Our Home”, La Casa Nostra is the relatively new Sathorn address to enjoy delectable Italian cuisine specialties: Mozzarella, Calabrian salami, mellazane, spaghetti, porchetta, Sicilian oregano sauce, beef bresaola, barlotti beans, baby octopus, risotto, tuna tagliate, all with the age-old authentic concept of mama Bianca and the nuova mentalità of bride Sophia. In a few words, old meets the new, but the fabulous tastes of Italian cuisine prevail.
La Casa Nostra offers modest yet diligently cooked dishes, obliged with easy and comforting service and offer at the same time, distinctive Italian wines at reasonable prices. There you go, that’s three evening dinners after-work, in a week.
With so many grin inspiring wines and a bunkered cellar right next door, you cannot but look forward to warm and refreshing dinner with friends and colleagues, at least those with whom you have the requisite to share your good times with.
Chefs Alessandro Frau and Chef Nino Scognamillo believe in simple, tiny mouthfuls with rich and aromatic senses to taste. For them the food needs to look good, feel good and taste good. You can tell by the dishes and the way they are prepared with attention as well as imagination. They are type of chefs you want to be friends with because even their simple dashes are tasteful. Satisfying and enticing. Ingredients play their part but the personalities behind the dishes are of course the most saliente.
The indoor and all’aperto décors of the restaurant are equally warm, well-textured, sensibly drawn, with special attention given to the tableware, glassware and the blissful seating arrangement. Worth the visit in every sense and perhaps more with the palates lingering onwards after the dinner and influencing for the next visit.
