Lavender Garden Afternoon Tea at Up & Above Bar

Lavender Afternoon Tea Okura Bangkok

Ranging from deep purple to pale lilac in color, the beautifully scented lavender flower is a symbol of high summer. These attributes have inspired the talented pastry chefs at The Okura Prestige Bangkok to create the Lavender Garden Afternoon Tea at Up & Above Bar.

From July to September guests can indulge in sweet temptations that include lavender macaron, lavender and bee pollen chocolate, lavender and blackcurrant cream roll, lavender wild blueberry cake, seasonal cream daifuku, lavender and blueberry tartlet, potted lavender crème and black currant scones accompanied by artisan clotted cream, jams, and marmalade.

The culinary creations of the Lavender Afternoon Tea at Okura Bangkok make the perfect companion to a cup of rich illy coffee or freshly brewed premium Saro and Mariage Frères teas.

The best afternoon teas also feature savory bites and sandwiches and the Lavender Garden Afternoon Tea won’t disappoint with fabulous fares such as crab, avocado and nori tartlet, and white asparagus with sauce Hollandaise and capers, and a miniature club sandwich of smoked trout layered with cucumber and horseradish on rye.

The Lavender Garden Afternoon Tea is available daily from 1 July – 30 September 2018, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Up & Above Bar located on the 24th floor of The Okura Prestige Bangkok.
